Hummingbird Garden

Hummingbirds At Last

We have been putting out feeders for years without anything.
I asked our guy at the nursery if he knew of any plants that would attract hummingbirds. He said he heard the cigar plants were good.
Was he ever right!!!!!
For the past few weeks, they have been coming several times a day. We are so excited!
The cigar plant is orange with trumpet like flowers.
I am trying to get a good picture to post

Try certain Salvias too, they are #1 in my yard, but there are hundreds of Salvias and a lot don't work too well for hummers.

Try Black and Blue, Black and Bloom, Wendys Wish, Embers Wish, Love and Wishes and Amistad.

I recently got my first hummingbird. Yesterday it was in my Chinese Hat plant, than today, it was in my red Fire Spike. I am so happy that I finally got one.
