This is our fireplace. I want to modernize it, maybe remove the wood and tile the whole face to the ceiling? Right now all the trim and windows in the house are original pecan stained oak. I would like to paint all of it white to freshen it up. Eventually we're thinking to replace all the oak colored laminate flooring as well.
