I love my Bosch for a few reasons. It has real push buttons instead of blister buttons and they are mounted on the top of the door. It's very quiet. Stainless inside. Accomodates tall items. The filter is easy to clean. the only down side is the tines aren't adjustable, but the other features more than make up for that.

We have a Miele and it is the most quiet and has stood against our hard water for years!

Bosch are terrific. Our current one is 7 years old and integrated. Never a problem. They've lots of price levels too. Miele also excellent. Independent UK consumer magazine Which has them both at top.

I had the first MIELE machine on the west coast. I had to have it shipped from New York. This was 29 years ago. Still going strong. NEVER had anything wrong.

Hi mmarsh, you could research about this Bosch 24" or 18" model --

If you have an integrated one it doesn't stand out in a row of units. Mine is slightly ajar to show buttons on top inside.

Miele ! Miele ! Miele !! Worth the extra initial cost as they go on and on and on !!!!

In the last few years, I've lived in three houses. Two with MIele d/w's, one with a Thermador. Both are good, but the Thermador stacks up as slightly better IMO. Prefer the removable cutlery caddy versus the fixed tray the Miele has.

Miele, Bosch both are great. I have a whirlpool in my winter place and like it just fine. Never had a problem with it.
