New cabinets, counters and banquette in our island home. Kept the sturdy appliances and well-loved terracotta floors. We wanted a better layout, easy care finishes and a coastal look that works in winter too. I am loving the cabinets from IKEA.

Thanks! The back splash was the hardest choice. We thought white or cream would be too bland with the light cabinets. So we picked a watery blue clay tile - goes with the ocean view and the texture is rustic like the floor.
