I think the color and style work, but the size is too small next to the sofa. Maybe you can use it elsewhere in the room.

Color is a yes. However, I find it too bulky for the tight space.

Love the style, but I feel it's almost being hidden in the corner. A piece like that is unique, and should be placed where it will stand out and grab attention.
