My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out. The brass on that hood specifically is an orbital brass with no patina or lacquer. This type of brass does will darken and change over time due to it being considered a "live" material.

    The Brass on the hood however, can be changed to a new material I am using here. It has a brass based without the brass changing over time. We do not lacquer anything here but this material would not need it. Please see attached.
