Two tops done

I got so carried away making the long strip, I ended up with enough for two quilts. I figured out why I was getting a very thin slip of fabric each time I cut the grey. I had two blades in the rotary cutter. Duh! I'm putting the two tops away until I finish DD's quilt and finish the rest of her room. I really like how the grey turned out.

Bev, your quilt looks great. I love the grey sashing. Your story about the two blades in your cutter is really funny. I bet that had you stumped for a while.

Lois, at first I thought it was the fabric, although I couldn't figure out how that could happen. But then I was squaring up a stipped block and it did it with that fabric too, so I knew I could figure it out somehow.
