Based on that close-up photo alone, I think the blue color that is on the right post would look good on the front door, but posting a photo of the entire house front would help.

Here's a better picture of the front of the house. It seems so dark at the front entrance.

My house is light brown stucco with dark brown trim. I just painted my front door a rich, inky teal and painted the flower pots a nice royal blue.

Now I'm trying to improve Devore inside the house so it lives up to the level of the front door. I'm thinking of blog called "It all started with a teal Door" but I ain't got time for no blog

The photo on the left was my inspiration. My door (on the right) is tsunami (Behr) but I painted cardboard swatches of 3 other pretty teal colors to see what read the best on my house.

In addition to painting the door - I like the blue peacock or rainforest or teal colors, please paint out the trim around the garage door and paint the garage door. Right now the dark trim color emphasizes the garage door which is not where you want to focus your eye when coming home. The door itself looks unpainted on my monitor. Paint the garage door a color that blends into the siding color or maybe just one shade darker (like your brick) and the garage door trim color (only) that same shade that you use to blend the garage door into the siding.
