Pinguicula 'Titan' leaf cutting

last modified: 8 years ago

Hello! So about three weeks ago, I decided I'd bite the bullet and do a leaf cutting on my Pinguicula 'Titan'. This made me a little nervous since it's my only P. 'Titan' that I have so I didn't want to damage it! Anyway, so far, the leaf cutting looks ok. I can see about three...possibly four plantlets forming. They're in a styrofoam cup with turface (I've never tried this media before). My intention is to transplant them into their own pot using 50% peat and perlite. I like this plant. The mother plant has large leaves and is pretty resilient. Hopefully, these cuttings will make it for me. :) I hope you enjoy the photo and as always, thank you for reading my post :)

Thank you,

Duc Nguyen.
