Hello! I hope you guys can help me. I would like to put some 45cm wood beams on a 9m x 9m living area. The room currently has 4 columns but I don't intend to align the 2 inner beams to the columns. Will this look okay? The columns are 54cm wide and aligning the beams (while also following the 54cm width instead of 45cm) to the columns will make them too close to the 2 other outer beams. Not to mention, the 54cm width is just too wide for my taste. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
