A little less here and free shipping. They appear to all be exactly the same.... realize the arms may not go under the desk, but the chair seats are typically a bit wider if they will fit.

There has to be a material difference since the Mitchell Gold is 600. That does include the Tibetan raw wool cushion that is the best part.

I like the look of that chair, but how much time will you be spending at the desk? If only short times, that should be fine. If you spend more time there, like I do since I work from home, my back would be killing me without an ergonomic desk chair that I can adjust.

I found a used Life Chair from an office rentals company for only $300 in a fun color a few years ago. It dramatically helped my back when I got it and it's a slimmer profile and better looking than a lot of desk chairs out there.

DH, I think I will would love to the rounded back, but I just have to have the Tibetan cushion. I think for my space the chair will lighten the dark corner and the cushion makes me smile so nice to sit on. Without a sister or best friend to bounce things off of here I rely on the great people here, so thank you

Understand, the faux fur throw is fluffy from the inspiration photo, but not Tibetan. Again, they sell them with the faux leather backing in white many different odd shapes and sized at my local Home Goods if you go that route probably if you have a HG near you same. However, you can google Tibetan cushions. The inspiration photo I sent you is the faux fluffy long fur piece at HG... good luck! Both would look great. Agree the on you like or similar is pretty... however... depends on what you want to pay for a writing desk. It is a lovely chair you like.

$600 for that seems high. I think you can get the look you want for less by getting your own pillow. Even the real Mongolian Lamb fur pillow by Jonathon Adler is "only" $325. And faux pillows are available all over the place like at Pottery Barn and West Elm as well as Home Goods. If you prefer real fur, I'd also consider alpaca. (Sorry if you or any readers out there that are ethically opposed to real fur!) I love the feel of alpaca fur even more than lambs fur. It has a closed hair shaft vs. an open hair shaft which makes it easier to clean and it won't take on any odors from pets or anything. I used to have a white alpaca fur bedspread that was amazingly soft and silky.

Update I bought the chair and was lucky my local Mitchell Gold store had one so was ale to bring home today. They did need to order the Tibetan wool cushion which tackles about three weeks. Here is photo of chair, so perfect I think

DH, I do have some guilt about the fur, but it is amazingly soft. I have a fur dog bed because it repeals odors and is very nice for my old gal. Before anyone hates on me I am a vegetarian and am very aware of my choices!
