This is a bit of a guess, but I'll go with Pinus densiflora. Whatever they are, they're impressive. How was the golfing?

I'll let the experts chime in, but I'm going with Pinus sylvestris, Scots Pine.

Btw, we share the same last name :)

I concur with Scots pine.

Definitely.

Scots pines have those lovely bluish-green needles.

Steve Gall, who are you going to believe, these botanists or me?

I've gone back and forth convincing myself each suggestion is correct. While Pinus sylvestris is more the consensus, Google image searches for the two varieties indicate that Pinus densiflora resemble how the trees looked to me in person.

The plantsnap app did indicate Scots Pine once, but I typically haven't had much luck with that app.

It was a beautiful evening of golf. My daughters' high school team took a huge step toward winning the conference championship and won our 39th conference matchup in a row. The trees were an added bonus, I'm not sure why the match summary didn't mention them.

LOL! Sounds like someone has a good life.

P. resinosa differs by producing bloomy branchlets and green leaves to 5 in. long.

Pinus sylvestris !
