White Porcelain Sink (Scratches)

Hi All, We were all set on getting a white porcelain sink to go along with our white shaker cabinet design but the designer we were working it said that porcelain sinks scratch alot? Is this something to worry about or are the scratches not that big of a deal and dont happen to often.
