HLB in North Orange County, CA

Anyone else located in Orange County that has had the CDFA test and spray your citrus. They came to my home in North OC about 3 weeks ago. They did a first round of tests. Tests were inconclusive for HLB. They came back for a second round. One week later they came back to tell me my Variegated Lemon Tree (of course one of my first planted and largest!). Nothing can be done once a tree has it so they ripped it out. Now they have taken samples of all my trees and have since sprayed all of them with 2 pesticides (Merit and another one I can't remember).

It seems like its just a matter of time before my other trees get it but the CDFA is confident they will keep the disease at bay.

Wondering if I should just start planting avocados and other fruit instead of planting another citrus which is what I really want to do. The one they took out was one of 10 in a citrus hedge in my front yard.

Would like to hear what others are doing after trees were pulled out by the CDFA.
