Hosta help!!!

I recently transferred some hostas from my parents house to our yard. They were doing wonderful until the past week or so and I noticed that some of the leaves were turning yellow an they have small holes in them. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Any advice on what I should do? Thanks so much.

Why not take your photos to a local gardening center, where they're familiar with the weather you've been having, and may have heard of other cases of insect infestation (if that's what it is) in the area.

Hosta needs full shade. Sun scald could cause the damage shown in these photos, especially now that the weather is getting hotter and sunnier

They are both in total shade :( I will definitely be checking into our local garden center tomorrow to see if there is some type of insect causing this! I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks!

Moist shade is the key. During dry periods, the edges of hosta leaves can actually show signs of scorching from lack of water.
