I have too many plants and leaves to handle. I decided not to participate. Sorry

Is there some reason I should know about that nobody here cares about this? What am I missing?

I think that there are a few posters here who have said that they were planning to participate in the round robin.

As for myself, ... and I can only speak for myself, ... I am not currently looking for new AV acquisitions.

I will probably participate. I guess Ill have to hear the rules but as long as I don't HAVE to take a bunch of stuff, I certainly won't mind passing on some of my doubles or leaves, as the case may be. I thought it might be fun.

Maybe Ill get lucky and find something that I don't already have and is on my "priority" list! Anyway, thats the hope and reason why I will likely participate if asked.

Jeff, the rules are right there in the opening post by Deb in the Round Robin 2017/Fall post. You never "have to" take anything you don't want, nor are you required to take any minimum. You only need replace what you take with equal amounts - or more if you are a generous person with lots of material to spare. :-)

You need to PM your info (address and real name) to Deb ASAP in order to participate. In order to send a private message, click on Deb's name in any of her posts and you will see a "Message" box in the upper right corner which opens a private mail system. A lot of work goes into planning the route for the box and she has to get it going soon. I hope you sign up. And anyone else who has been on the fence about this - hurry!!!

I think I have done that, so maybe I am already signed up. I primarily just want to do one of these RR events. Ive never done one so it may very well be my last. How much of an intrusion could it be?

At any rate, I don't NEED any more AV plants but what does NEED have to do with it anyway! Im going to do it for fun. Maybe Ill find a leaf from a plant that Ive wanted for a while and it will all be worth it.

Ive got quite a few items I could gift. We'll see.

Me too. I have quite a few leaves to gift away. I have vacation coming in Oct-Nov, I will ask Deb if she can avoid those days. I will join then.

Thank you to those who have replied to my question! I have a very large and healthy violet collection, and many many of them I have grown from leaves from several RRs I have been in over many years. Much fun to come...
