Perhaps Erigeron philidelphicus or Erigeron speciosus ?

I initially thought E. philidelphicus too, Jay, but it has 150-400 ray flowers, and the one shown above seems to have fewer. E. speciosus is one that I don't know, but it seems to have more darkly colored ligules in Internet photos. There are so many native Erigeron, plus many more cultivars, that I'll be surprised if anyone can produce a confident ID - especially since some of the critical characteristics aren't shown.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. My close-up photo was showing white blooms. I actually has pale pink blooms. I guess I should knock on my neighbors door and ask what it is.

Sounds like a great idea. Maybe they will offer you a piece. The genus is Erigeron. And this is a nice, pretty Erigeron. There are some really bad, weedy, thug Erigerons. You have the plant close by. Plenty of time to maybe pinpoint the species or send out a DNA sample. LOL
