Thanks for reaching out about the Saxon Sofa! It's one of our fantastic products that we actually build to order in our downtown Los Angeles factory (made in the USA!) and it even comes with free white glove delivery! Not only that, but it's been one of our most popular styles of all time - nice pick!

The Saxon Sofa, along with all of our other Apt2B sofas, is constructed without the use or addition of any chemicals or flame retardants. We pride ourselves in being as chemical-free as possible with our construction process! The hardwood frame of the Saxon is constructed with kiln-dried Alder wood, the corner blocks are attached with Low VOC wood glue, and there are no flame retardants or other chemicals used in the high density foam or the fabric.

The best part? The Saxon also happens to be a super comfortable sofa! It has plush cushioning supported by a high density foam core. This makes it soft and comfy while also helping it keep its shape over time. It's also very chic and has a great vintage charm.
