Ignore it. To germinate orchid seeds it requires a lab environment. The effort is enormous. Better to first get good at growing orchids. And growing is what you will do with the seedlings. So getting that down first makes sense. And almost all hobby growers never do the seed thing. However we do a lot of dividing plants and they also yield babies on some baby plants that can be harvested.

The other alternative is to send your seed pod to a lab. But even then it is probably not worth doing for a stray seed pod where the parentage is Unknown.

Also they may take over a lot of real estate. Quite a few plants could come out of one seed pod. Do you want 100's of orchids all the same? Enjoy growing for a while. You will need to know how to grow anyway. But after a few years you will be able to make a quality decision about starting from seed.
