Our client wanted a beautiful path leading from the front yard to the back to provide visitors with access to the pool without going through the house. To make the path interesting we added a small pond-less water feature with a dry creek. The path is flagstone and sandstone bridges the dry creek in two places. To create a dry creek that mimics Mother Nature, we excavated 18", snaked the creek through the side yard, crafted irregular sides and used three sizes of cobble for the sides and base. Small boulders were placed at the outside curve of the creek and inside the creek for authenticity.

The result was a natural looking dry creek, with a winding path for access and accented with beautiful plantings.
