Fun little plant topper

I found this little topper at Flowerland. I think it adds some character to this pot if cuttings.

That looks nice,What size pot is it in?

    It's about a 5 1/2 inch pot.

How cool! It will be so interesting to see how it looks as your hoya grows.

That gives me an idea for repurposing some things I have lying around the house. ... :-D

Did you look at the hoyas there? When I was there, There was a couple of them that looked a little sad from what I seen.

They were very sad! When I mentioned it, the woman who is in charge of the greenhouse told me that she had been on vacation. I almost had to rescue some, but they were all varieties that I have. If they had been marked down, I probably couldn't have controlled myself. I am notorious for rescuing plants from their demise.

Very cute! Non Hoya question for you, Carolynnv. Is that a doodle on your profile pic?

Yes, that is my sweet Josie. She is a golden doodle. A golden retriever personality that doesn't shed! Her only downfall is that she can knock down a potted plant with her tail if it is sitting in front of a window that she wants to see out of. LOL

lol - I can totally relate. I have a standard Labradoodle, Quincy

    And a mini Goldendoodle, Charmin

Cute puppies, We have Great Danes that are getting older ,We have been kinda discussing what our next dog will be.

Carolynnv,I thought the same thing about the poor plants also, Wanted to rescue them but no deals and I already had those ones.

I did just pick up a hoya curtissi at Meijer, Wasn't on my wish list but couldn't resist it.

I got a beautiful curtissi this summer too. (I think it was from Meijer.) It was soaking wet when I bought it. I took the bottom tray off it and let it dry out for weeks. It is hanging in my bathroom in an east window and seems to be very happy.

I LOVE Great Danes! They have wonderful personalities. I'm sure Monica will agree that once you have a non-shedding dog, you'll never switch. I love my doodle. Josie looks more like Quincy. She is 50 lbs of love!

Great Danes are such gentle giants :-)

I had a cat for 18 years that I just loved, but couldn't stand the shedding (especially as she got older). Now with 2 doodles there is never hair in the house unless it's mine lol

We may have to look into Doodles,I know that there was a lot less noticeable hair with the Danes than with our German Shepherd. And we talked at one time of getting Standard poodles but I'm not sure about that myself.

Upset with dog pictures? Not me! Can't get enough of them! I've just been refraining from posting photos of my three (spaniel mix boy, terrier mix girl, long haired chihuahua girl).

Yes, we are well-rounded. I also love crepe myrtles and gesneriads, beautiful food photos, adult coloring books, wall hangings, crazy lighting ideas, and even things that are related to my job. :-P

In any case... Maybe we need a sticky thread for "Hoyas and pets" - if we can keep the pets from eating the hoyas long enough to take photos.
