I am preparing to have my kitchen remodel next month. I thinking about getting Maple Espresso cabinets with gray flooding. I having problems with selecting backsplash for the wall and under the microwave wall. For all my kitchen appliances, I thinking about slate instead of stainless steel. But I am wondering if slate will be to dark. Also, for my kitchen towels, rugs, and other kitchen items, I want to incorporate a "Purple Kitchen". Also, would the gray cabinets be better for a purple kitchen incorporate.
