tomato sauce in half pints, citric acid question

I'm making Balls seasoned tomato sauce, only I'm using dried onions and garlic instead of fresh. I'd like to can it up in half pints, because we often like to use just "a bit" for stuff like pizzas or to make a side pasta, but making a cup of sauce every time is a pain, lol.

The processing directions is for pints. 1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1/4 teaspoon citric acid per pint, 35 minute processing time. I know "general rules" are that I need to stick to that 35 minute time, even though I'm using a smaller jar.

I made this sauce a couple years ago, I used lemon juice and canned in pints. Since then, I've switched over to using citric acid more, but haven't returned to this sauce till now. And since I haven't done this sauce in smaller jars before..... Do I keep that 1/4 teaspoon per jar amount of citric acid, or would that change?
