I have an 8 foot sliding door, with 2 foot operable windows on either side that I like to open when the weather is nice. I am taking down the valance and existing curtains, as the dogs have broken them and my husband and I don't like the balance. We have a great view, so I like to see it, but we also face west in southeast texas, which means in the summer it is 100+ ! So blocked sometimes, and as open as possible others! Will it look odd if I do 2" window blinds on the side and curtains in the middle? We have all curtains in our bedroom and it is fine in the, but seems too dark for the living room, as there is no option for partial light, like with blinds. :-/ Any suggestions appreciated!
