Will this tile be okay with my new vanity?

The woman in the tile store recommended this tile to me. It is a grey-beige. I realize that the grays do not match but I,m hoping it will still be okay? I'm looking for a beacy vibr and want to keep the room light. I also am not a fan of the more cooler toned gray woodlook tile. I feel it is very trendy. The room it comes up to is. a cream carpet. Thoughts? The vanity is white with a marble top.

I have this exact tile in my new bath! The vanity arrives Friday, so I can let you know then! I really hope it goes well, as tile is already installed! My vanity has marble top like yours.

Seems just by asking this question, you're not happy with this combo. If you were pleased, you wouldn't need anyone else's opinion. Go with your gut.

I think light toned wood looks great with marble, doesn't have to match. I like it.

carrellhouse...it's not that im unhappy. its just that the undertones are different and I'm not sure if it will look "off". I love both items..just wanted to get another's opinion.

It's not like they will be touching like they are now in the pic. Vanity will separate them and I bet it will look nice - especially if the floor tone is what appeals to you and goes well with the carpet meet up. You already know you do not want the cool gray tone in the marble as your floor anyway. I love that boardwalk kind of tile! We used something similar in a previous bathroom with white vanity and gray cement top (well, faux cement - it was diy Ardex).
