another thing-any way to check with the manufacturer of the cabinets the formula? if they're painted of course..if it's high gloss veneer then it's different. But if it's paint-it can be matched.

and yet another, very different, suggestion-embrace your dark apartment, light paint won't necessarily make it lighter..pick a color you love, that will go with cabinets nicely-should be clean color, to support your bright cabinets..maybe even something brilliant, with higher sheen so it reflects light more..add mirrors..lots of lighting around..the light will bounce off the walls and mirrors

white paint sometimes turns dull and gray when there's not enough light from outside..it has nothing much to reflect

so you can still try different whites, and try to see what happens if you take deeper color paints too. compare the effect throughout the day (make samples of course)..who knows, maybe you'll like a color better in your apartment, after all. or you find your right white:)

Add metallics in your decor..they also reflect light. If you're a fan of wallpaper they have some with this effect.
