Yes Sempervivums are interesting and beautiful. Such a variety of growth habits and constantly changing colours depending on the time of year and growing conditions. Hopefully I will post more pictures of them next summer. May be other members of this forum will chime in, too.

Hello Keilia, As far as I know sending plants from Canada where I live to the US requires obtaining first a Phytosanitary Certificate what costs and is a lot of trouble. I hoped you were somewhere here.

Semps are sold everywhere - there is a big selection currently at my local Home Depot - and they are not expensive and increase rapidly. You should be able to find them easily locally.

I agree that sending from Canada to the US would be far more time, trouble and $$ than the plants are worth.

I think it's always fun to look at photos, so hopefully I'll share a few of mine.

It is spring again in my zone 5a. Time to bloom and multiply. Here are some of my Sempervivums getting ready to bloom:

It is too difficult for me to keep track of the varieties of my Semps, they change their appearance too much.

Birds and kids love the ID tags too.

Love seeing photos of everyone’s semps! Last fall I put in a new bed with river rock, sedums, and semps ... some didn’t make it (chomped or dug up, maybe our -30 winter killed a few)..., but it’s filling in nicely now. I can’t wait until I have colonies like yours, windberry!

You have beautiful Semps bunkfree. It looks like they have overwintered very well. They will fill in very soon, don't worry.
