I've been using what it says on the package, weekly. It's helped my orchids quite a bit since I started using it (thanks to Harvey!). So no, there's no need to dilute it further. Hasn't caused my cymbidiums any grief that I'm aware of.

Full strength must be 1 tablespoon to the gallon. There are 3 teaspoons to the tablespoon so a teaspoon is 1/3rd strength.

Caleb, here is Cymbidium Heaven as are some parts of California. I have nil Cymbidiums, but I know that the Cymbidiums Fanciers feed their Cymbidiums heavily (every watering) during late spring and summer hence the weaker than normal recommended application rate. Heading into Autumn, so it might be time for you to taper off the fertiliser a bit and use a fertiliser with a lower Nitrogen number. Harvey, I started using Maxi-crop around the same time-good results, thank you! I keep a 30 gallon plastic can outside with both the maxi-crop and Orchid + in it so I can water easily from it!

you mix up 30 gallons at a time? If so it starts to stink what you do not use in a week. I mix what I will use up...

Yep and nope it doesn't smell at all, Harvey. It works great. In fact, I got the idea from some others who do the same thing. I used to mix it up in gallon jugs every week and that was getting old, with the number of gallon jugs I had to use, measuring it out every time and waiting while they filled up. We keep the lid on it to keep the bugs out but otherwise it's been a wonderful time saver.

I'm glad it works for you. Maybe the difference is that you live in cool Colorado and I live in hot Florida. Either or it is an exceptional product.

Judy, how many orchids do you have?

Mmm probably close to 50. There were a lot more but I've given some away and sold a few others. Can't possibly keep up with working full time. It's pretty easy in the summer but in the winter it's kind of a pain; they've all got to come in. We were going to clean up our external greenhouse and seal it up well but I broke my foot about 8 weeks ago and it seriously hampered efforts. It will wait until next spring then.
