It seems to me that many new adenium enthusiasts still do not understand what "adenium seeds do not always come true to parent plant" actually means. For this reason, I thought this, from Mr. KO (Taipei), a highly reputable hybridizer, warranted re-posting -

1. Pink: 85% chance of pink seeds bearing pink flowers.

2. White: 95% chance of white seeds bearing white flowers.

3. Red: 95% chance of red seeds bearing red flowers.

4. Stripe Lined: 70% chance of stripe-lined seeds bearing striped-lined flowers.

5. Dark Purple: 10% chance of dark purple seeds bearing dark purple flowers.

6. Light Purple: 30% chance of light purple seeds bearing light purple flowers.

7. Peach: 70% chance of peach seeds bearing peach flowers.

8. Red Lining w/Five Petals: 20% chance of red lining w/five petals seeds bearing red lining w/five petals flowers.

9. Yellow: 20% chance of yellow seeds bearing yellow flowers.

10. White petal w/red curving: 95% chance of white petal w/red curving seeds bearing white petal w/red curving flower.

11. White Arabicum: This is a very rare variety. In our experience, the offspring of Arabicum only have about one thousandth of a percentage to produce the purely white Arabicum. Most will produce pink blooms and some will produce white with red edges or red blooms. We continue to try to improve this issue and hope to soon achieve higher percentages for pure white flower production.

12. Variegated Leaves White: Basically, variegated leaves are a mutant variety. So far, we cannot say for sure what percentage of our seeds will produce plants with Variegated Leaves. We've been working on developing a better offspring of Variegated Leaves for a long time, but it still requires luck to grow exactly like its mother plant. Before you order the Variegated Leaves, please make sure that you have read and understand this information.

13. New Double & Triple-layer blooms: 30-50% chance of Double & Triple-layer seeds bearing Double & Triple-layer flowers.
