It could mean one of several things, so don't jump the gun. Many of my perfectly healthy plants have spots on the leaves for various reasons. What sort of light do you give it? Temps? Water? Is the spot getting larger? Is it spreading to other leaves? Is it textured? Raised or depressed? Where on the leaf is it located? Maybe it's just mechanical damage (from hitting something or getting dropped). Have you put fertilizer or any other kind of treatment on the plant?

all of my plants (I only have 3 right now. I'm a newbie...don't have 300 plants like Harvey or Jane.) are in the kitchen by the sink. The sink is not under a window, but the room gets lots of light from windows and sliding glass doors in the adjacent family room. The temp is usually in the high 70s. So far the spots are not spreading or getting larger. I haven't put any fertilizer on it yet. My jpeg from my phone is working again, so I'll try to post it now. I do think the stem where all the blossoms died at once originated by this leaf. I posted on this earlier. The other stem with blossoms is fine so far.

Patti, don't worry about those spots at all. Give your plant as much light as you can and hope for new blooms in the winter.

I'm glad I don't have to throw the plant away. The blooms that are left look so good. I live in Arizona, about 17 miles south of Sedona. (where do you put in that info that's in the parentheses? I don't see a place for zone in the profile; I'm in zone 8b)

Yes, I agree with Jane. I wouldn't worry about those spots. In time, that leaf may yellow and drop (and let it do so on its own, don't "help" by pulling or cutting), but it doesn't look like disease or pests. I've had similar and they haven't been the harbinger of doom. :)

Maybe try to increase air movement, but I wouldn't think too much humidity would be an issue in your area???

I agree with everyone else, not much to worry about if it doesn't spread or start on other plants.

You wouldn't think we have a problem with humidity, but we do have a monsoon season during the summer, and it rained quite a bit this year, more than last year. The foothills are still green because it rained so much.
