I'm looking for advice for the backyard of a college rent house. I had someone do some work, but it turned out quite differently than I had expected/hoped. I live out of town, so didn't oversee it like I needed to. I had sent design inspiration pictures, but they weren't really taken into consideration. The first 2 photos are the design inspiration pictures I had sent; the third is the backyard configuration. The last is how the project turned out. I had asked for small gravel rock, but he installed this white granite rock, looks OK, but not practical for the furniture or for walking on. The edging has completely come out of the ground and the fire pit is in an odd location and seems small. Any suggestions on how to re-work this, add to or take away. There are power lines that run the back fence line, so I think that is why they did not put the fire pit in the back corner, where I thought it would look best. Thanks so much for any advice!!!
