Shower Door Handle and Hinges Finish Dilema

Help!

I am in the throes of my master bath remodel and am going with Delta Dryden Shower fixtures in a Champagne Bronze finish. My cabinet pulls are Atlas Sutton Place in Champagne. My contractor has scheduled the glass vendor to come out to measure this week and I'm struggling to decide what finish I go with for the shower door handle and hinges. I a going for a clear glass, frameless shower door design. For reference, I went with Sherwin Williams Egret White walls, Frosty Carrina Cesarstone counter, Benjamin Moore Rockport Gray painted cabinets and Happy Floors, Apollo Beige 12x24 for the Shower walls with a gorgeous arabesque tile inlay in a soft gray, and a white with gray border round penny tile (on mesh) for the shower floor. The master bath floor is also the Apollo Beige tile in 12x24. Everything looks so luxurious, creamy and beautiful - I hate to mess it up with the wrong shower door finish!

why can't you do the same champagne handle on the door? I don't get why you're in a dilemma?

see if they have something close for the hardware,,,maybe a satin brass if not the champagne

    just do it like this

or,, go hog wild and do the acrylic and gold

Thanks for your input. I guess I am afraid of the finishes clashing. I have my glass guy coming over on Thursday and he is brining finish samples. The picture you've posted looks more Gold than Bronze. I'll update my post with what I find. FYI, I love the acrylic and gold options - so fun!

Do you have your shower fixtures and cabinet pulls on site to compare to the samples from the glass installer? Then you could see for sure whether the various brass/gold/champagne finishes can work together.

I do have the cabinet pulls and faucets onsite. Here is the latest: We went the Brushed Bronze finish. It's almost identical to the Delta Champagne Bronze. The only hitch is I am having to order a handle from Avondale Décor because the glass guys can only give me a tubular handle in the BB and not the square. Other than that we are good to go. I'll post photos when it's done.

ipe_64 would love to see an update, I'm in the same boat right now and cannot find a door handle to match

Beautiful! What company did u use for the shower door clamps ?

muddy,,,most shower door places have hinges like that, in a variety of finishes. call out someone close to you and they'll show you what they have.

Thanks Beth I’ve been to ours locally none are matching the delta champagne gold and most don’t have door handles that match what they offer so that leaves me with 3 diff golds

how many companies have you called? look for some of the bigger companies that handle more customers. they should have it . if not, ask them to special order. and you really don't have to match it perfectly. even a shade or two darker would look really nice.

My contractor used a local glass company and we picked the brushed bronze (BB) finish which , I believe , a standard finish.

I've seen 3 local samples and they just don't work with it. I don't live in a huge city either so options are limited. Thanks for your response!

ipe_64 do you have a photo of it installed? One of our locals had a brushed bronze, but I'm learning all the companies call it something different.

@Beth H. : Hey Beth, Where did you find that champagne bronze shower door trim? I cant seem to find it anywhere...

Cathy, depending on the shower company you call out, will determine what gold colors they have access too. I don't know about buying glass door trim separate.

you'd have to call the shower glass company. if they don't have what you want, try another company.

as for the door handles, jus google it. i think that's all i did

@carlysouthard our clips are through CR Lawrence and are a close match in their brushed bronze. Not happy with the handle style options, though!!

I’m in this same dilemma three years later. No champagne bronze (brizo luxe gold fixtures in shower). Really too Bad. But the lucite shower handle will be fun because there really is at a good match.

This is why I stick with classic finishes. While the new ones are so pretty, it's harder to coordinate and you risk not having any matching options if you need to replace a faucet or other hardware down the line.

Unfortunately, I’ve just landed myself in the same predicament. My vanity sconces are an antique brass (has a brushed appearance), and I chose the delta champagne bronze for the shower fixtures and sinks... my contractor used a trim around the niches in the shower and tub area that’s almost an exact match to the light fixtures without talking to me first, and now I’m not sure which way to go on the hardware (handle and brackets) on the frameless enclosure... Any thought or guidance would be very much appreciated!

Take a look at the acrylic/gold combo. will match your trim but will minimize the contrast with your fixtures.
