I have a hodgepodge of a bedroom due to my DH wanting to keep his 1990s pine set he brought with him from England as is. I have a hand me down rug remnant from my parents and a newer grey velvet headboard and a blue velvet chair that needed to come out of another room to make space for my daughter's floor half bass and stand. When life gets so busy and expensive the master bedroom gets put off it seems. I painted my walls a blue grey. Here's a pic of it with a painted grey nightstand I found on the curb a few weeks ago.
