Redoing kitchen after flood

We just redid our kitchen cabinets and counters a little less than a year ago. Unfortunately, our home got water in a recent storm. The first time around, I ignored the Saltillo tile floor, and now I'm wondering if I should choose different granite and/or cabinet colors. We move about every 3 years or so, so I need a timeless, classic look that will appeal to others, as well. Any suggestions? The granite in the photo is White Valley, and the lower cabinet is SW Peppercorn, upper is SW Pure White.

How much do you need to replace? I'd be tempted to try to recreate the layout, if you can salvage the counters and all the rest. If the whole kitchen is wrecked, then of course it's more of a blank slate...

The floor is staying, so the layout will stay the same. The upper cabinets will stay. I really need help deciding on color of granite/backsplash and color of cabinets.

You might take a similar approach but go a bit warmer, as with walnut-toned lower cabinets to go with your white uppers, and a granite or quartz that includes some browns.

I think you could otherwise keep your contemporary/transitional look, and maybe do a white backsplash with some interest...
