I am sensing an age of warmer neutrals and great bright, colorful accents to warm up the grays we have been living uncomfortably with for several years. All the new model homes around Houston are warm tones and not a gray anything to be seen. Lots of warm metals like coppers and aged golds for pendants and kitchen hardware. White kitchens still out there but more warm woods and colors on the horizon. Whiter walls and accessories in more modern settings with mixes of colorful antique rugs and surprising combinations. Great time to be designing and decorating. Love it!

In 2018 the trend will be warmer, the warm neutrals are going to be back.

Lots of nature colors like: Beige, browns, neutrals mixed with black and white will be seen.

Tribal patterns and color palette of black, white, caramel combined with organics will also be a hot trend in 2018.

Orange and Red will be making a strong comeback as accent colors.

Gold will also be in next year!
