Front door, need color advice

Hello! Hoping for some color suggestions for the front door of our white 70s ranch. As you can see from the paint cups on the front door, we’re having a tough time making a decision. Any other design suggestions are also welcome! Thanks! PS...The crooked palms have been relocated. Planters may or may not stay.

Lots of options here. What color(s) do you like? It might be nice to paint the door and bench the same.

The porch posts could be beefed up. Maybe change out all the bushes for something lower. It's a cute house!

Lucky you, you have all the options available to you because everything else is neutral. I agree pick a color you LOVE (maybe one the is the accent color of the room you first walk into or the color you have carried throughout your house), then paint the bench (if red doesn't work) in the same color OR it's opposite on the color wheel. Post a picture when you're finished.

What a cute house. I almost missed the shutters and I think you should paint them as well as the door. SW Sea Salt or BM St. Lucia Teal are really pretty colors for your door and then go with black shutters. I would paint the bench white and add some striking blue pillows and you could add some hanging Boston ferns. I would definitely keep your lovely blue pots, as they would compliment the door if you head in that color direction and also consider a hemp rug. I think it will feel very welcoming and calm.

I think a pretty yellow not too bright would be pretty and you can paint the bench to tie in. A different green would be great as well... not a, "Christmas green". Behr Amazon Jungle is a very pretty front door color.

SW Bees Wax is a nice yellow leans a bit warmer... not too bright, but bright enough to make an impact.

removing the bushes in front of the long portion of the porch and centering the bench if you are open to removing them will give your porch some impact. You can hang some ferns in Spring/Summer.

I like the Bees Wax...... I'm not seeing the full on blue samples you have on the door with your home...

I agree with Maureen, I was going to suggest a shade of teal and also painting the bench to match. Good luck!

Wow! Thanks everyone! I love the suggestions of Sea Salt, Amazon Green and Bees Wax...all great suggestions. I wasn’t really feeling the blue for the door either. And painting the bench to match makes perfect sense. We never sit on that bench and I think it’s because it feels closed in with the bushes, so scaling them back would help and open it up. Will definitely post pics when it’s done. N
