GUEST BATHROOM HELP!!!

Ok just had this bathroom done but every time I look at this vanity I HATE IT! I feel like it is too busy. We have the raised panel cabinets in our kitchen and the look great. I wish I would have done flat panel on all the doors and drawers fronts or did an open vanity or two smaller vanities... something more interesting. I hate that this is new but looks dated...?? Also, I am not crazy about the lighter gray color. What should I do? Leave it? Learn to like it? Will it grow on me? Rip it out and try again :/ (I plan to do hardware but haven't selected any yet).

Help and advice please!

I'm not sure what not to like; I would finish the space and close the door. As it's for guests, don't let it drive you crazy! :)

I think the vanity is very pretty. It also offers a lot of storage space. I would clean out a drawer or cabinet and clear off all the stuff on the counter. The stuff is what is making it look busy. Just soap, box of Kleenex and maybe one decorative item is need on the counter top. Hang some nice mirrors and I think you will like it better.

I would live with it for a while to see if it grows on you. From a standing position, you won't be staring at the door fronts at the same angle as the pictures, and you won't be in there as much since it's the guest bathroom.

I had some drawer fronts in my new kitchen that I didn't like. People on here told me they were fine, so I tried to live with them. After a few weeks, they just felt wrong and I had them replaced. Cost $1000 for the new fronts and labor to install. Now I love love love them! They were very "front and center" in my kitchen, where I was looking at them all the time. If it had been a more expensive fix I definitely could have lived with them, but for me it was worth $1000 to change them out.

However there were other things that bothered me at first but grew on me. So I'd try to live with them, then consider replacing if you still don't like them and have the budget.

How frustrating to think something was going to work out a certain way and have it not be how you thought! Hardware might help freshen it up a bit. I didn't want to pay to replace all my cabinet doors but to modernize I painted them lighter and added new hardware. Huge difference!! The lighting might be something to consider as well. Maybe something less yellow-toned and brighter. I think the color and the granite do look very nice.

Finish it off with a quality, unique, but not busy hardware. Hang your mirrors and if you can add a super interesting hanging light fixture or two (nothing to busy tho), do so. Bringing the interest up will make the vanity appear less busy, keep the counters nearly bare of stuff, and keep the walls interesting with art or shelves.
