Say that ten times fast !

If i were to put 2 Autumn Ferns behind one August Moon hosta, will the hosta be too large ? Online says the fern grows up to 2ft but i think it may be taller, and the hosta says it can go to 3ft.. but in reality, will it look good or would i probably need another variety of hosta ? I could always space the ferns out a little wider than i normally would so the hosta would fit right in between and not so much in front ?
