We grew it in 2016. I found it so-so for taste too and above average for productivity. Ironically, my customers loved it and were disappointed that I didn't have it this year. I'm going to have to grow it again in 2018.

I'm really hoping that last year I picked them too late (or too early) as I really didn't care for the taste. I hope it's not one of those varieties that only does well under certain conditions!

My customers tell me that the flavor of Blush and Sunrise Bumblebee is very similar .... just a different shape. I tend to agree but give the edge to Sunrise BB. This year we grew Sunrise BB. Very productive (we're still harvesting these after almost 3.5 months). Flavor is OK. Not fantastic but decent. 3 plants have kept up the production for quite some time. I would say that Riesentraube, Sunchocola and Sunrise BB have been our best cherry producers this year.

I grew Sunrise BB this year and found that when they were perfectly ripe, the flavor was WOW. However, after the first burst of wonderful flavor, I was left with a load of chewy stuff in my mouth that I wanted to spit out :(

I thought that the taste of Maglia Rosa was similar to Blush, but that Blush was a little sweeter.

I grew Reisentraube a few years ago and found it a bit too acidic for my taste, but it was incredibly productive.

I'm interested in trying Sunchocola.
