My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Just planning our new house and was wondering what size your island was and how you liked your work triangle. It looks fab!

    Thanks! Island is just shy of 9'x5'. Love the size of it! Work zones have worked well for us. One thing I would change in hindsight is adding a prep sink in the island so that cleanup zone with larger sink would be separate.

    Thanks for the feedback! I currently have a 4'x8' island and love it. I use it a lot as a serving buffet, so I'm loathe to add a sink to the island in the new house, as I'm sure to accidentally dump something down it! (Yes, I cover the whole thing in food...) :)
