Our home burned in a fire and we're finally moving forward with the rebuild/remodel. Siding will be hardie lap on the bottom and hardie straight shingles on the gables. A belly band will separate the lap from the shingles. Looking at gray/greige/taupe colors for the exterior (Sherwin Williams- Pavestone, Elephant Ear, Dovetail, Tony Taupe, etc...). Do I keep belly band and fascia the same color or match the belly band to the main exterior color? What about matching the soffit to the window trim in a soft white?
