you don't have room near the doors (where the little pumpkins are now). it would get in the way. If you do a plant to the right of the door in front of the window, I'm afraid it would block it. you could do a med size pot w/some coleus. (this site is down for posting pics in comments so I can't show you. Google "coleus in pots" and you will get ideas. you could do those all along the wall as well.

you could do some plants in pots all along the wall where the hose is. Do some taller plants that prefer shade (does that area get any sun?)

Since yours gets more sun, you could do succulents, cactus plants, palms, etc. You fountain is a good start! now grab some color pots and put against the small white wall. Ditto for in front. plant some tall snake plants to go in between the iron decor squares on the front.

Since it's leaning towards a spanish style, look here and grab some ideas for plants, layout, pots, landscaping, etc.

I love the courtyard area with the fountain as a planter. I think your front yard is a great area it just needs to be filled in a little. I would love to see some plants whether they are succulents or flowers going along the side of the entryway on the grass side. Or evening adding Spanish tile and planters could add some color and make the walkway more dynamic.

You have great accents of pottery right now, but I would love to see a little more. I would love to continue with the Spanish theme and maybe add some Spanish antiques or you could go for more of a classic look with some French Anduze in the entryway. I have attached photos of both.
