Thank you both, i really have to thank my contractor that came up with the design idea to move the toilet from the right side near the door way to the left side near the window. This allowed a larger shower space which was really my desire.

We also wanted a pocket door but there was an HVAC conduit in the walls. We then determined an exterior sliding door would work

thanks all, The barn door was a last minute change. We purchased in from Home depot unstained. I ended up using Vinegar and Steel wool solution to create a weathered look on this new door

the project took a bit longer than planned but the results are working great for us. shower turned out to be 48x36 which is quite big for this small space. I made the choice to have it that big and hope the frame less shower enclosure would make the space seem larger.

We purchased this small shelf unit from houzz to create additional storage space.

thank you "May Construction" our decision on the shower floor took a while as we knew the small room could look crowded. we definitely wanted some type of retro look in the room.

In fact we bought the shower floor tile, subway tile and vanity here at Houzz. We were very happy with the delivery and quality of the items. In addition, there are so many inspirational designs on this site it made our material selection a bit easier
