Girls bathroom upgrade

My two daughters share a bathroom in the second floor. The just moved and the color is the original. I'd like to change color and add fun and colorful details. In the future we will replace sink and mirror but for now it's staying as is. Maybe a frame for the mirror? Shelves? Plants? is bbetween ttheir bbedrooms . One is pink and the other one is teal, should I keep in.mind this or just go with whatever they like?

that mirror is shot. people give these bathroom mirrors away for free on craigslist all the time. grab one of those and have it cut to size and framed. In fact, people sell those oak vanities all the time for next to nothing as well. maybe you could pick up one for a song and paint it white. For a few hundred bucks, you could get the vanity, sink, faucet and a mirror!

I'd paint all of the wood trim white. glossy white. paint the walls in a color that goes w/that flooring. (I really can't tell what it is. maybe grays or a nice pink?)

grab a new blind..or if you are DIY, you can make a No Sew Roman Shade out of any fabric.

you can also find cheap vanity lights all over the place.

the girls need storage for their stuff,,,so get something like above or one like this (craigslist. I found a really nice one for 30 bucks and painted it)

I could not see the color of the vanity in the pictures, I would say go to mirrormate.com and purchase a frame for the mirror. To complement the vanity. If you aren't satisfied with the vanity color paint it. I would also remove the shelving that's against the mirror. Use a towel rack on opposite wall. Preferably one that as a shelf for unused towels (if the space is wide and deep enough) and can hold a couple hanging towels. Aldo add some quirky artwork the girls may like above the toilet. Instead of the vanity lights maybe hang a chandelier or complimentary light fixture in the ceiling.

Periwinkle would look nice with that window trimif you are not planing to paint the wood window trim.

I think that this would work , get a fun shower curtain and paint the window trim as well .

It's half bathroom so there is no shower.

Vanity color is Dar brown but the fixtures are black (they probably tried to match the color). Still trying to decide if I'd paint the window trim white or just keep it as is.
