Need help with colors

I am desperate to find a blue/gray for bath cabinet where someone will wonder, "Is that blue or is that gray?" The grays are too concrete gray and the blues are too blue. What I need is a gray with a blue undertone. Please help!! I am desperate.

Thank you so much!

What are the other colors in the room? Are you looking for dark or light? Here are some to check out:

    Sherwin Williams North Star SW6246

    Sherwin Williams Morning Fog SW6255

    Sherwin Williams Jubilee SW 6248

    Sherwin Williams Evening Shadow SW7662

Thanks, I'll go look tomorrow, but the cabinet will be a lacquer one done by the cabinet maker. I'll check if SW can be used for lacquer...I've been looking for Ben Moore pains as he has used them for lacquer before. I think I want a cool, light bluish gray. Thank you so much.

BM Eclipse. I painted cabinets this color. I see it as blue-gray, my son calls it battleship gray, and my tenants walked in and said they loved the blue cabinets. It might be too dark for you, but the next shade down, Pilgrim Haze, might work. BM November Skies is a little more blue. It really all depends on the light in your room, and perhaps more importantly, what other colors it will be next to.

Here is the color I put on my vanity. in my bathroom that people call blue, though it is gray, lol. The wall color is BM "Bunny Gray", and the vanity color on the same strip is called “Thundercloud Gray", #2124-40. These colors are located on a strip and are either next door to each other or there is one color in between. Its been 6 years now, so I don't remember. The white built in cabinet is "Distant Gray", off the same strip, I believe. The vanity and the cabinet are the BM colors used in ML Campell lacquer. The first and last pictures were taken in the daytime with natural lighting from the east window, I'm not sure about the center picture.

Here's a good picture of it on the Bunny Gray walls with the ubiquitous blue tape for comparison. This is the Bunny Gray. The door is painted in BM Super White:

Are you happy with the Thundercloud gray being a color that either takes on blue tint or gray tint? I'd like to know because this is my first choice for my counter top. I want it to pull in blue and not just gray. Thank you anyone who has had this color. Pictures like this one help me so much. I think I'm going a little nuts about this. Now I really relate to the book's title...."Fifty Shades of Gray."

Thank you so much. I have been debating Thundercloud Gray and Winter Solstice by BM, so a picture is "worth a thousand words." I think I have a clearer idea in my head that the Thundercloud has more blue in it by just a slight measure. Thanks again.

Keep use posted on what you decided. And show a picture of the cabinet on this thread when you get it in. Then by all means post a reveal thread when the room is done. We LOVE reveal threads.

I think it is a fairly clean color for being a gray. I love the room that this vanity is in.
