I Found this Orphan Block While Rummaging...

I found this orphan block while rummaging today and for the life of me can't remember making it and why. Anyway, I'm between projects so I decided to make a toss pillow since I had this extra pillow form laying around. I might give it to my Granddaughter.

I'm wondering why I put it aside, I'd actually like to have a quilt with this star pattern in it, but maybe I decided not to because of the set-in sections which are a challenge.

That looks like a complicated block. The pillow is really cool. I love how you've quilted it in concentric circles.

I have a few New York beauty blocks that I started for a quilt but gave up after 3 or 4. A pillow would be just right.

It's nice you put the block to work. I hate unfinished items in my closet. I like the circle quilting.
