Our master bathroom on the main level is all pink and shiny brass. We are currently in the upper level master for at least the next five years until our kids are older. We will likely remodel the bathroom when we move down but for now want to make some updates that aren’t too expensive.

I have read about painting the tile—thoughts on painting the tile in the shower and around the tub. Also I’ve seen people spray the shiny brass parts of the shower door either rubbed chrome or bronze—has anyone done this? Again we don’t want to put too much money into updates but need a face lift until we redo in 5 plus years.

Also what new faucet and shower fixtures look best with the counters and pink? Oil rubbed bronze or brushed chrome?

A new light and also new towel racks to match are on the list too.

Any advice or suggestions for this bathroom?
