Hi there -- I'd like some recommendations on new overhead lights for my living room and dining room. I'm planning to enlarge the opening between the living and dining room -- so I think I need lights that will compliment each other. There are also two wall sconces in the dining room... should I replace these or remove them? In the living room I plan to add some recessed lighting as it is a fairly dark room that looks out onto a large front covered porch. Any ideas would be great. I love modern and transitional style but don't plan to replace my dining room furniture any time soon. Its quarter sawn mission style oak table and chairs.
