I would not have a coffee table at all in the space the loveseat has a table at each end for drinks and one between the chairs , there is no need for another table I would add a nice area rug.

I get the sense of the entire space feels off balance. I would try your love seat facing the fireplace and chairs facing with the little white tables next to each and ground the space with a rug. On the wall where couch was, add a console table and place your two lamps on it with your blue artwork above. On the opposite wall, I would place your clock there instead of in dining room and use a mirror above the chest instead. I think this arrangement will suit better both size and placement wise for your table also.

You could first center the coffee table and then move the sofa and chairs to balance. If that works, then maybe just a sofa table behind (fun to "merchandise". That arrangement makes your great grandfather's coffee table the center of attention, as it should be.
