I would add

• maybe your monogram over bed or the first letter of your last name

• hang up the mirror in your bedroom

• put something over your dresser maybe like a mirror or some photos

• get a new bedding I would recommend pottery barn

• And a rug under your bed

is there room for bed against wall where dresser is? Put dresser with something like this above (kate and laurel medallion) with lamp or on wall with small square picture and put some sort of etagere or bookcase in between windows (below). the end tables being above the windowsill drive me crazy, lol. You can get bench for end of bed, rug as stated. i like a black and white canvas photo over bed like of a dock or something that makes you relax. pops of color on accent pillows, candles, flowers that match color in rug.

You should add something above the dresser and also some white color decorations. You can also add something above your bed headboard.

Hi, Maybe you can change the light color to white or yellowish type so it will blend in the wall's color or change the wall color that will give balance to the brown wood flooring and cabinet then make sure to add decoration to empty space in the wall, example paintings or family portrait.

Thank you all for the help! Right now the bedding colors are light blue and silver and it gets so dirty from our two large dogs! Looking for bedding and a rug that will still keep things light and airy feeling but easily disguises dirt! Any specific ideas on curtains, bedding, rug, and lamps that will go good together?

Choose bedding and a rug in darker colors and then use accessories to lighten things up. It's hard to make specific recommendations since personal style is so personal, but walk through a home store and see what grabs your eye.

Pro tip: Rugs come is much fewer colors and designs than bedding, curtains, etc, so I would choose the rug first and then decorate around those colors
